INCOME CRITERIA
To be eligible for one of the rental units in this project, the landlord has set certain income requirements. These are as follows:
- If you have a single income, your gross monthly income must be at least 3.5 times the monthly rent. Any fixed allowances, such as vacation pay, year-end bonuses, etc., may be included in this calculation;
- If there are two incomes (yours and your partner’s), 100% of the second income may be included. The total of these two incomes must also be at least 3.5 times the monthly rent;
- If you are a salaried employee, you must have at least a fixed-term employment contract (one-year contract with a letter of intent) or a permanent contract. On-call, temporary, or flexible contracts are not considered;
- If you are retired, the sum of your state pension (AOW) and any net pension must be at least 3 times the rent;
- If you are self-employed, you must demonstrate a pre-tax net profit of at least 3.5 times the rent. You must also have been self-employed for at least one full fiscal year;
- If desired, 10% of your verifiable equity may be added to your total gross annual income.
RENTAL TERMS
- The minimum rental period is 12 months. After that, the rent may be terminated effective the first day of the following month, with one month’s notice;
- Service charges are €55 per month;
- A security deposit of 2 times the monthly rent is required as standard;
- Pets are allowed by arrangement.
